Community Family Medicine
About Us

Our History

Our original practice, Chatham Family Physicians, was established in 1982 and has been providing patient care to families in Chatham, Lee and their surrounding counties.  The practice has been affiliated with Central Carolina Hospital since 1987 and changed its name to Community Family Medicine and Obstetrics in 1999 to reflect its expanded focus.  Known today as Community Family Medicine, the practice has grown to six providers including four primary care physicians and two nurse practitioners.  Services by our providers range from infancy through pediatrics, adult medicine, womens health, occupational medicine, geriatric and hospice care.
